Shipping policy

NOTICE: OUR ROASTERY WILL BE CLOSED BETWEEN FRIDAY 29TH MAY AND TUESDAY 16TH JUNE. ALL ORDERS RECEIVED DURING THIS TIME WILL BE ROASTED AND SHIPPED WHEN WE RE-OPEN ON WEDNESDAY 17TH JUNE. 

1. General Information
This Shipping Policy outlines the terms under which Gallus Coffee Company Ltd (“Gallus Coffee Co.”, “we”, “our”, “us”) dispatches and delivers orders placed through our website [www.galluscoffee.co].

We currently ship within the United Kingdom only. We do not offer international delivery at this time.

2. Fulfilment Schedule

  • Orders are fulfilled Monday to Friday.

  • We do not dispatch orders on weekends or public holidays.

  • Orders received before 12:00pm (midday) will be shipped on the same business day.

  • Orders received after 12:00pm will be shipped on the next business day.

  • Orders received after 12:00pm on a Friday will be shipped the following Monday (or next working day if Monday is a public holiday).

3. Delivery Options and Charges
We use Royal Mail as our delivery partner. The following services are available at checkout:

  • Royal Mail Tracked 24 – £3.99
    Estimated delivery within 1–2 business days from dispatch.

  • Royal Mail Tracked 48 – £2.99
    Estimated delivery within 2–3 business days from dispatch.

Delivery times are estimates only and may vary due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g. postal delays, adverse weather, or strikes).

4. Order Tracking
Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive an email containing your Royal Mail tracking number and a link to track your shipment.

5. Delays and Non-Delivery
If your parcel has not arrived within the estimated timeframe, please allow an additional 2 business days before contacting us. If your order has still not arrived after this period, please contact us at hello@galluscoffee.co and we will investigate with Royal Mail.

6. Address Accuracy
Please ensure all shipping details are entered correctly at checkout. We are not responsible for delays or losses resulting from incorrect or incomplete addresses provided by the customer.

7. Ownership and Risk
Ownership of goods passes to you upon delivery. Risk of loss or damage transfers once the parcel is marked as delivered by Royal Mail.

8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Shipping Policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available on our website.
